The new headquarters of Sicad, a leader in the adhesive tape industry, is defined by two distinct volumes: a prefabricated warehouse and an office building in exposed concrete, sculpted by oblique lines that accentuate its architectural and sculptural character.
Between the two blocks, a central courtyard introduces light and spatial connection. Above it, a large, suspended frame captures the sky, conceived as a gesture of Land Art.
Identity-defining elements — such as coloured films and cardboard tubes, intrinsic to the nature of adhesive tape — are reinterpreted as architectural details, weaving the company’s industrial essence into the language of the project.
