In the heart of Porto, within an Art Nouveau building, Portugal’s first Leica Store takes shape as a project that unites architectural heritage and contemporary identity in a space dedicated to photography, complete with an integrated café.
Red and black display units, reinterpreted as free-standing sculptural volumes beneath the historic vault, organize the spatial experience and guide visitors through the store. The social table and café counter introduce clients to a convivial atmosphere, while the Leica Akademie hosts exhibitions and photography workshops, transforming the store into a cultural and narrative destination.
