In the Santa Croce district, Alessia Garibaldi’s Venetian apartment emerges as a space for poetic experimentation, chosen for its cultural significance.
The project intertwines Heritage and contemporary art: eighteenth-century stuccoes and Venetian terrazzo floors coexist with site-specific works by young artists. Curved bespoke furnishings, alongside eclectic objects collected during travels in Africa, engage in dialogue with design icons such as Carlo Scarpa’s Doge table and Nanda Vigo’s console.
Silver tones, evoking the reflections of light on water and the stripes of Venetian bricole, serve as narrative codes within the project, weaving a subtle interplay between memory, art, and lived experience.
